KIIP 5 Comprehensive Test (사회통합프로그램 종합평가) is the KIIP final test to complete the program. The test is divided into 2 tests for different purposes.
KIIP 5 Comprehensive Test for Permanent Residency (KIPRAT - 영수용 종합평가) is generally designed for persons who finish the level 5 basic course (70 hours). The exam comprehensively tests the applicant's Korean language skills and understanding of Korean society, mostly on the basics of the Korean language, culture (Levels 1~4), and society, which they would need as a permanent resident.
KIIP 5 Comprehensive Test for Naturalization (KINAT - 귀화용 종합평가) is generally designed for person who finish the level 5 advance course (100 hours). The exam comprehensively tests the applicant's basic and advanced Korean language skills and understanding of Korean society, mostly on the Korean language, culture (Levels 1~4), and society, which they would need as a permanent resident.
There are currently two methods of KIIP level tests being conducted simultaneously:
> Paper-based tests (PBT종합평가) are conducted around 8 times/year. The test is available on weekends in all regions in Korea.
> Computer-based tests (CBT종합평가) are operated from 2022. Unlike the PBT level tests, the CBT level tests are available on weekdays in 2 test centers at Gwangmyeong city (광명시) and Daejeon city (대전시) only. However, its test schedule is more flexible around 2 times/month.

2.2 All test takers are required to be present by 30 minutes before the test.
- Time to enter test room for computer-based tests (CBT종합평가) is divided by round.
> First round is from 9:00 ~ 10:40
> Second round is from 10:40 ~ 12:10
> Third round is from 13:10 ~ 14:40
> Fourth round is from 14:50 ~ 16:20
- Time to enter test roon for Paper-based tests (PBT종합평가) is at 12:00 PM
※ All test takers are required to present the ID card for verification.

- Anyone who has completed the 5-step basic course of the Comprehensive Social Programs (70 hours)
3.1.2 Other Eligible Applicants
- Anyone who has not completed the 5-step basic course of the Comprehensive Social Programs (70 hours), but a score of 85 or higher has been acquired from the pre-test within 2 years
3.2.1 Eligibility
- Anyone who has completed all 5 steps of the programs (100 hours)
- Completed the courses for naturalization before March 1, 2018
- Spouse immigrants who received 50~59 points from the 2012 Comprehensive Test
3.2.2 Other Eligible Applicants
- Anyone who has not completed the 5-step courses, but applied for naturalization before March 1, 2018
- May apply for the test up to 3 times in a year from the day of application for naturalization approval

4.1 Comprehensive Test for Permanent Residency- 영수용 종합평가: 14 questions×1.5 pts, 22 questions×2 pts
4.2 Comprehensive Test for Naturalization- 귀화용 종합평가: 7 questions×1 pt, 29 questions×2 pts
※The oral test may take up to 3-4 hours according to the waiting time.
- The writing test is limited within 200 characters.
- The interview test is composed of speaking and conversation with 2 examiners.

- Anyone who has completed all 5 steps of the programs (100 hours)
